Under the new owners the food is exceptional. The beef was succulent and cooked to perfection, and the chips were amongst the best we've had. Plus lots more options on the menu now. The milkshakes are top class too. Idris the owner is extremely welcoming & friendly and his chef too; they went out of their way to accommodate us. The restaurant is very clean. A gem of a place in Cheam Village and the orange juice is real juice! Thank you for a lovely experience :)
As always this is and always has been the go to burger place in the area. Not to mention they simply make the best shakes ever! Never disappoints and friendliest service.
Took the family for a friday night feast. The staff were lovely to speak to! The milkshakes were amazing the beer was lovely and cold and the Burgers were out of this world! Would highly recommend for a night out!
Five stars for the service, the staff is very polite and accommodating. The shakes are amazing, highly recommend the chocolate shake. However the burgers and fries are a let down. Super oily, cooked from frozen, it doesn't taste freshly made. But it tastes like fried again so bland and oily. I know burgers are not meant to be healthy but kebab shops do better burgers, even the bun were soggy. Disappointed really won't come back. I guess might be worth trying once for the shakes otherwise avoid and go to Nandos.
Was keen to check out the American Way with new owners. Have been going here since 1999 and this is by far the best it has been. Burgers are better, starters and sides are better, better beef and a stripped down menu. New owners and chefs are great and hugely hospitable. The owner is also a magician and showed us a few tricks! Amazing experience. Restaurants like this the management really make the difference and they have here. Cleanliness is also A LOT better than it has been in the past. WELL RECOMMEND.
First visit here for lunch today but I'm sure it won't be the last - yeah, it was that good. The table was cleansed as we were offered our table and they were all nicely socially distanced. The nicest and thickest milk shakes arrived quickly followed by a seriously tasty starter platter Then came the burgers, they were superb. I had the Hangover burger, it's a monster and brought most of it home so missed out on the desserts but they looked great. The staff and waitresses were extremely attentive and polite making for a very pleasant dining experience. Recommend you visit this place when your majorly hungry.
